So far we have only been in the beer garden, as we don't like the restaurant or the guests there ... Mostly Munich snobs (also easy to recognize at the parking lot) who take a trip to the country ... The beer garden is small but really nice and quiet. You sit very idyllically and sometimes with a view of the lake at the usual beer garden tables and chairs or at long tables with benches. The food is a bit expensive but the portions are ok. But there are also veal schnitzel and a little more unusual dishes.

We stopped for a beer on a hike. We were in the self-service area and everything was fine. The view of Lake Starnberg and the Alps was awesome, the beer was tasty.

Wonderful atmosphere with a great view of the mountains and Lake Starnberg. The food, drinks and service were excellent.

The boss's dog barked at my 2-year-old daughter in the beer garden. Ms. Graf did not apologize, even though we were customers there for many years with larger companies ... On the contrary, "... he never does that ..." she defended her dog and probably wanted to say that my daughter was to blame ... The establishment is a great dog playground but hardly suitable for the little guests. Other former regulars also avoid this restaurant in the meantime. That's a shame, because with a scoop of ice cream for the little one this matter would probably have been settled.

Even though it was very busy today .. Sunday .. we still got a good seat and coffee and cake were very good

We were there in the beer garden and really impressed by the atmosphere and the view of the Alps Have a nice coffee with milk. Self-service --- the gentlemen behind the counter very nice, quick-witted and in a good mood ---- it was a great 1.5 hours. The way there is definitely worth it 👍👍👌

Always worth seeing and a unique view, unfortunately, now very crowded because it is easy to reach by car and the paths are also accessible for Porsche, Maserati and German, unfortunately nobody knows the greeting "Grüß Gott"

even in a rustic context and in a suggestive natural environment, the restaurant is fundamentally elegant and the dishes, especially game, are well cared for. Not too far from Munich.

On the most horrible day 9/26/20 it was rain and cold, here at a wedding. The service and the food made the wedding a great day again. It was a successful celebration!

Chic restaurant and nice beer garden with a great view of the lake, but we were disappointed with the food in the beer garden. For the fact that the currywurst with fries cost 10 euros, it didn't taste good and the fries were unfortunately totally salty. (Makes you thirsty? Or was the cook in love?)

The beer garden is great! I haven't eaten in the restaurant yet. Great view ... which is paid for with slightly elevated prices. By the way, eating in the beer garden is also recommended. So ... the prices are perfectly okay.

Wonderfully located below the chapel with cemetery. We all ate very well in the beer garden.

We celebrated our absolute dream wedding here in August 2020! Mega ambience, very professional and friendly service and fantastic food. Everything was well organized and prepared exactly according to our wishes. The view of the lake and the mountains is just gorgeous, our guests loved it. We can only recommend this. A big thank you to the organizers and to the entire Ilkahöhe team!

There is an exquisite ambience and a wonderful view after a short walk with a slight ascent from Tutzing train station up on the Ilkerhöhe, where delicious, mostly regional dishes are served by the very friendly staff. Reservations recommended. Prices high, but reasonable.

Really good restaurant where you can discover a lot of different meals and drinks. Mostly local food, but really tasty. The place is nice. I was visiting the area around, and finally i got a really good surprise to eat in this restaurant. Thanks a lot to the people working there. And the prices are really acceptable. That was ok to come by car too.

The restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere and a small beergarden. The terrace has a simple menu, while more sophisticated dishes are offered inside. The crowd can be sometimes too hipster but otherwise it is ok.

Bavarian cuisine. Very good food. Small menu, excellent service. Nice to combine for a day trip outside Munich. Pick a sunny day since it has a very nice veranda with view towards Starnberg lake.

Nice restaurant with a beautiful view. It can be very crowded on weekends. The kitchen is typical from Bavaria, the food is good. Service can be slow.

A very nice place with an excellent lake view

For us, this is one of those places you keep on coming back to. The great thing about the Ilkahhöhe is that you can simply sit in their beergarden and enjoy some basic but great food after a hike - or you can come here for a great evening (that is at least what we did several times) in a beautiful ambiance in their main restaurant. The latter was renovated just a couple years ago and features a nice balance between modern and traditional look. The personnel is very attentive and the food has been fantastic on every occasion.
